Man Uses Handgun to Rob Victims

The suspect fled on foot after demanding the victims' valuables.

Police are looking for a man who used a small chrome handgun at 6th Street and Rose Avenue to rob two people who were walking home around midnight Thursday, Dec. 12, according to the Pacific Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The robber, described as an African American male, approximately 30-40 years old and 160 lbs., wore a trench coat, was on foot, and demanded the victims' purse and wallet. He then turned and walked northbound on 6th Street toward Rose Avenue, police say.
