No Foul Play Suspected in Homeless Man's Death

The coroner's office says the man's death is due to 'natural causes.'

A homeless man's body was found Monday in Venice, but no foul play was suspected, police said.

The body was discovered about 7 a.m. behind bleachers near the handball courts in the 1800 block of Ocean Front Walk, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations office.

Craig Harvey of the coroner's office said the man was indigent, and his death was believed to be due to "natural causes."
