Shooting Reported Inside Palms Restaurant; Gunman at Large

At least one person is reportedly injured.

One person was wounded tonight inside a restaurant in the Palms area of Los Angeles, police said.

The shooting happened just before 9:30 p.m. in the 10900 block of Venice Boulevard near Greenfield Avenue, said a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Station.

The victim survived the shooting, according to the desk officer, but the person's condition was not immediately available.

Police radio transmissions indicated a male gunman was at large.

Various tweets have identified the restaurant as the teriyaki restaurant at 10953 Venice Blvd.
