The Week in Crime for Venice, Mar Vista

Los Angeles Police crime reports for Venice and Mar Vista, Sept. 1-7.

Five robbery reports for Venice were taken by police from Sept. 1-7, according to the Los Angeles Times, as well as one report of aggravated assault and one for grand theft auto.

For the same time period in Mar Vista, the only reports were two for grand theft auto.

In Venice, there were 15 reports of theft, 10 of theft from a vehicle and two for burglary.

The Venice robberies happened at 11 p.m., 8:40 p.m. and 12:01 a.m., according to police reports. The aggravated assault happened at 10:50 p.m.
