Two Men Shot in Mar Vista

Police are seeking at least two suspects in connection with the assaults.

Two men were shot and wounded early today in Mar Vista, and police are seeking at least two suspects in connection with the assaults.

The victims were shot about 2 a.m. in the 12000 block of Venice Boulevard, near Inglewood Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Laura Curtin said.

LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman said the victims -- said to be in their 20s - - were taken to a hospital.

One man suffered an ankle wound and was reported in good condition. The condition of the second man, who underwent surgery, was unknown.

The suspects were described only as males.

A videographer at the location said the crime scene appeared to include a Mustang facing west, with three bullet holes in the rear window.
