Two men who were shot Tuesday night in Venice are expected to recover, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department. The victims were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are searching for 3-5 black males believed to be involved in the shooting, which took place around 8:15 p.m. in the 800 block of Indiana Ave., said Madison. Police have "no motive at this time as far as what happened or why they were shot."
Police have multiple vehicle descriptions but have not issued a description of any car believed to be involved in the shooting.
As of 10:39 p.m., officers are still at the scene investigating.
