Assemblymember Feuer Endorses Bonin for City Council

Mike Feuer, the 42nd District Assemblymember says Bonin’s “experience and ties to the local community make him an ideal candidate” to join the Los Angeles City Council.

In his bid to replace Bill Rosendahl as the 11th District Los Angeles City Councilmember, Mike Bonin has picked up the endorsement of 42nd District Assemblymember Mike Feuer.

In an official statement, Feuer said Bonin’s experience and ties to the local community make him an ideal candidate to join the council.

"As a former Los Angeles Councilmember, I know L.A. needs leaders who are diligent, innovative and focused on getting results. That's why I'm excited to endorse Mike Bonin for City Council,” Feuer said. “I've known and worked with Mike for many years.  He is smart, creative and hardworking. Perhaps most importantly, he's trusted by the community groups in his district. Mike has my full support.  He'll make L.A. a better place to live and do business."

In response to the Assemblymember’s endorsement, Bonin said, “I am excited and honored to earn Mike Feuer’s support. Mike’s smarts, integrity and decency are unparalleled. He’s set an exceptional standard of public service for the Westside. Mike listens to people in the community, and always does what he feels is right. As a Councilmember, I will work hard to follow his example.”

Bonin has already picked up several high profile endorsements including Congresswomen Janice Hahn and Karen Bass, as well as many local neighborhood council members.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.

Thank you, David, for your lucid and edifying dissertation on Passover. You just about said itRead More all...I would only add that if people get a chance during the holiday to view the movie version of Fiddler On The Roof they will get a truly inspiring feeling for what it meant - and means - to be Jewish.
