Beer, Wine License on Tap for Siam Chan at Mar Vista Community Council Meeting

The council will also put forth its priority street project for the council district.

Two agenda items of note for the Tuesday night meeting of the Mar Vista Community Council is a motion to prioritize the "most urgent public works project" for the council district and approval of a beer and wine license to an area restaurant, according to the agenda.

Siam Chan, 12470 Venice Boulevard, has applied to serve beer and wine and the Planning and Land Use Management Committee approved the request with an 8-1 vote. The community council Tuesday night will weigh in on the matter.

The community council has determined its priority public works project to be the repaving and repair of the alleyway adjacent to Venice Boulevard, between Inglewood and Centinela avenues. They are asking the CD11 office to provide a timeline and potential budget for this project to occur within the 2013-2014 budget.

The Mar Vista Community Council will meet Tuesday beginning at 7 p.m. at the Mar Vista Recreation Center Auditorium, 11430 Woodbine Street.
