Work to complete construction of a major water supply upgrade will disrupt traffic on Venice and Sawtellle boulevards from Wednesday until the end of February.
The left turn lanes on eastbound Venice Boulevard and one westbound lane will be temporarily closed. And construction will also shut down the southbound lane on Sawtelle Boulevard.
Work will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The major water supply upgrade will impact about 31,000 residents, according to the Los Angeles Department of Public Works. Customers will not experience any changes in water supply, but on the following dates are asked to reduce their water use: Jan. 24, Jan. 30 and at a yet to be announced date at the end of February when crews will be connecting the new pipeline.
