Eric Garcetti Gets ‘Back to Basics’ in Mar Vista

The mayor-elect met with hundreds of locals at Mar Vista's Windward School on Saturday.

With just a couple of weeks to go before he takes office as the new mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti has been busy taking his ‘Back to Basics’ plan around the city.

On Saturday afternoon, he was at Mar Vista’s Windward School together with incoming CD 11 Councilman Mike Bonin, where he spoke with and listened to locals on the pressing issues he plans to address.

Garcetti’s ‘Back to Basics’ series were designed to help him get feedback from the local communities about ways to improve the neighborhoods, and help improve the economy.
