Two High-Profile Cases Are Scheduled for Next Week

The murder suspects will appear at the Los Angeles Superior Court Airport Courthouse.

Two high-profile Venice cases are now set for next week with two murder suspects scheduled to appear in court.

Kevin Dwayne Green, 28, one of the suspects accused in the murder of youth minister Oscar Duncan, is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, April 25.

Duncan, a popular youth pastor was murdered in June 2012. He was an employee at the Venice Boys & Girls Club and a 2006 graduate of Venice High School.

Dennis Vasquez, a gang member charged with the December 1975 rape and murder of an 80-year-old Venice woman at her home, is also set to appear in court next week. Vasquez was 16 when the crime occurred.

Vasquez's pretrial hearing has now been scheduled for Tuesday, April 23.
