President Obama Arriving in Los Angeles on Monday Around Rush Hour

Be prepared for potential gridlock and delays as the commander-in-chief arrives today at Los Angeles International Airport about 5 p.m.

President Barack Obama is scheduld to arrive in Los Angeles during the Monday rush hour commute and will appear at two Democratic campaign fundraisers.

The Huffington Post reported that Obama should land at Los Angeles International Airport about 4:45 p.m. Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl said that Obama will take a helicopter to UCLA and will head directly to the Hancock Park area via motorcade for the two separate fundraisers. One will be held at the home of producer James Lassiter, and the other at the home of Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas.

The exact route Obama will take from LAX to Hancock Park is not known.

On Tuesday morning, Obama will pre-tape an interview with Jay Leno for The Tonight Show in Burbank, before leaving Los Angeles from LAX sometime mid-morning, where he’ll fly to San Francisco.
