Mike Bonin has picked up another high profile endorsement in his campaign to succeed Bill Rosendahl on the Los Angeles City Council.
State Senator Ted Lieu has thrown his support behind Bonin, saying, "I've known Mike and worked with him for almost a decade. During that time, he has always been front and center, fighting to give Westside communities a voice. He's a strong leader with a big heart, and I know he will do everything he can to fight for the neighborhoods of the 11th District. I look forward to having him as an ally on the City Council and I proudly endorse him to succeed Bill Rosendahl."
In an official statement, Bonin said, “I am excited and honored to earn Ted Lieu’s support and I look forward to a strong and productive partnership. Ted is an effective leader and a forceful advocate for the issues that matter -- education and public safety, job creation and consumer protection, the environment and civil rights. I look forward to working with Ted Lieu on behalf of our neighborhoods.”
