Please consider running for office. It is a wonderful way to give back to your community with your time and energy and ideals. You will have to work quite a few hours, go to committee and board meetings and have to make decisions based on your best judgement, not always easy to do. \. One of the more important parts of the volunteer job is engaging others by helping our neighbors learn how to to navigate City Hall. Although the NC's are advisory, we are fortunate to have a Council person who tries to listen to us, but is not obligated to do so. So, watch for the announcement of the VNC Candidate recruitment party and the candidate forum- and- line up your friends to VOTE for you. Any questions? Please notify Elections@Venicenc.org. Go for it!
