PV's Priciest Homes: 2228 Via Cerritos

Every week, we feature one of the most expensive homes on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

At a dollar shy of $10 million, the 1.45-acre lot at 2228 Via Cerritos in Palos Verdes Estates retails for about $549 per square foot.

Inside the 18,227 square-foot house are seven bedrooms, eight-plus bathrooms, a "huge" living room, a "step-up library with Zen infusion" and two bowling lanes. The home was built in 1994 and purchased for $8 million in 2006.

Outside, the gated property features a tennis court, a swimming pool and a five-car garage.

"This utterly stylish estate offers sweeping ocean, city and queen's necklace coastline view," writes listing agent Wendy Sun on the AOL Real Estate listing. "Unparalleled architecture provides the ultimate Palos Verdes lifestyle."

The property is brokered by RE/MAX Palos Verdes S.S. For more information, see the listing on AOL Real Estate.

Patch is great for local news - particularly the crime reports which keep us informed with what's happening in our neighborhoods, as well reminding us what to do to prevent being a target. Even though not in the job market, I'd like to see more peninsula jobs listed, as well as garage sales - and always community events.
