Susan Suntree and Dale Pendell

SUSAN SUNTREE, who teaches at East Los Angeles College, will read from her new book Sacred Sites: The Secret History of Southern California (University of Nebraska Press), while DALE PENDELL will read from his The Great Bay: Chronicles of the Collapse (North Atlantic Books). Dale’s novel just won the Best Science Fiction Award at the 2010 Green Book Festival. The Great Bay reaches deep into the future as Sacred Sites moves toward the present from the deep past. Dale is the author of several books including the well known and award winning Pharmako Trilogy. SUSAN SUNTREE and DALE PENDELL feel that reading together will bring unanticipated pleasures and coherencies to their audience as well as to them.
