Local Girls Share Player of the Year Honor in Volleyball

Western League coaches also announce which high school athletes made the first and second teams.

Girls volleyball players from Venice and Pacific Palisades high schools were named co-Players of the Year for the Western League, according to the Los Angeles Sports Journal.

Kristen Shekelle of Venice and Jennifer Krems of Palisades took the honors as voted on by league coaches.
