Windward School Honored by Mar Vista Park & Recreation Center

Windward will be honored with a bronze plaque outside the gym for their contributions to the gymnasium floor and Mar Vista Park, which is located directly opposite Windward School’s nine-acre campus.
Among those on hand for the dedication of the newly finished gym floor in the recreation center were Windward School Head Tom Gilder, who said that Windward is “very pleased to be a neighbor and partner with Mar Vista Park.

Also in attendance were members of the school’s board of trustees, local representatives, Mar Vista Park officials, and Judith Keifer from the LA Parks Foundation.
