Manoogian Named Alpha League Volleyball MVP

Five Windward School players make the team and Michelle McGuire is Coach of the Year.

The Alpha League boys volleyball All-League team has been selected and it is no surprise that the list is full of players.

The Wildcats tied Brentwood School for the league title this spring (both teams going 7-1) and one reason was the play of junior outside hitter , who was named Alpha League Most Valuable Player. Wildcats junior setter also made the first team.

Manoogian pounded 220 kills and added 118 digs, 46 aces and 31 blocks as the Wildcats advanced to the semifinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 4 playoffs where they lost in four sets to eventual champion, Santa Monica.
