Downtown to Venice Route Captured by Westside Photographer

Do you like to take pictures? Have you recently captured a shot of something neat on the Westside?

Palisadian and photographer Wendy Price Anderson sent in some photos from the 2013 CicLAvia bike ride on April 21. Anderson and her friend Vicki Warren rode their bikes from downtown Los Angeles to Venice Beach, a total of 30 miles round trip.

Anderson said one side of Venice Boulevard was closed for the bike ride, and it was the first year that they came this far west.

"We had a lot of fun and the day was hot and beautiful with gorgeous blue skies," Anderson said, noting there were walkers, people walking dogs, skateboarders and lots of bikes.
