Venice Gondos' Football Season Ends Against Crenshaw

In spite of scoring 25 points in the second half, the Venice Gondos' weren't able to beat Crenshaw in the semifinals of City Section play.

The Venice High Gondoliers scored an impressive 25 points in the second half of their semifinal playoof game Friday but it wasn't enough to beat a strong Crenshaw High football team.

Crenshaw, who was up 24-0 at the halftime, scored another six in the second half to claim a 30-25 win.

USC-bound Crenshaw quarterback Ajene Harris spoke about the victory as seen on Los Angeles Wave newspapers, which also offered some footage from the game here.
