'Nothin' But Sand' Beach Cleanup Coming to Venice

The nonprofit group Heal the Bay is hosting a beach cleanup in Venice on June 16.

The nonprofit group Heal the Bay has scheduled its monthly "Nothin' But Sand" beach cleanup this month for Venice Beach.

The beach cleanup will be held June 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Venice Beach at 300 Ocean Front Walk, at the end of Rose Avenue, and is open to all.

Volunteers must be at least 13 years old or, if younger, must be accompanied by an adult. Bags and gloves will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring a bucket or reuse a bag from home.
