Hi. I live in Santa Monica, and my son just bought a home in Venice -- on Indiana. And I am stunned, utterly stunned at the incessant racket produced by the small planes taking off from the SM Airport. How many homes and families must this affect? Ten thousand? Fifteen thousand?
Two people, or four or six get to lift off into the gorgeous Santa Monica air, and destroy the peace of mind of THOUSANDS of people below them. The proportions are ALL wrong!
I very much want to become part of the vocal opposition to this ear splitting noise. This is NO way to live. If a car drove down Lincoln Blvd., or Rose, or Walgrove and produced this decibel level, he or she would be ticketed and the car impounded! In a NY minute!
