Venice High School

<p>Venice High School is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.</p> <p>Originally located in a boathouse, the school was moved to its present location in 1925. The borders of Venice expand to encompass the school, although it is east of Walgrove Avenue.</p> <p>Venice High was the shooting location for "Grease." It played the part of Rydell High.</p> <p>The bronze statue in front of the school is of movie legend Myrna Loy, who was an alumna.</p>
