Sheila was a staff writer and illustrator for the <i>Warwhoop</i> newspaper while attending El Camino College in Torrance, CA. By her second year on the newspaper staff, she was assigned to write a featured column about her other passion for art. Sheila received honorable mention for a critical review at the JACC State Conference, as well as outstanding achievement in publishing in ECC&#39;s <i>Myriad Magazine</i> in 1992. While attending ECC, she also entered her hometown scholarship pageant and won &#34;Miss Hawthorne 2nd Runner-Up,&#34; and &#34;Most Photogenic&#34; for 1991.

Currently, Sheila is a freelance writer specializing in creative writing, ebooks, web content, and short stories about subjects in the love and relationship niche. She also serves as a local reporter for www.wineanddinesandiego.com, reviewing eateries in the Vista, Bonsall, Oceanside and San Marcos areas.

As a member of Children&#39;s Book Writer&#39;s and Illustrator&#39;s Society (SCBWI), Sheila has authored and illustrated several children&#39;s books. Her objective in life is to inspire and enlighten others through her literature and artwork. When she isn&#39;t writing or creating art, Sheila is enjoying the company of her three kids for whom she loves to cook Hungarian meals and spoil with attention.
