Mart Collective Holds Grand Opening This Weekend

The Mart Collective will celebrate its official grand opening this weekend with drawings for gift certificates, markdowns on merchandise and resreshments.

Located at 1600 Lincoln Blvd. in the former Lincoln Fabrics building, the mart features many of the same vendors that were housed in Santa Monica's famous Wertz Brothers Antique Mart, which is no longer.

Former Wertz managers Anthony Hudson and Robin Messick, who own The Mart Collective, are keeping the spirit and joy of having several antique dealers housed under one roof alive and well.

The big, bright space offers a great environment in which to discover the treasures available in 65 booths and 45 showcases. High ceilings, skylights and several large "rooms" are curated and arranged by dealers who understand the art of presenting antique and mid-century modern furniture, statement costume jewelry, decorator items, collectibles, books, art and more.

The Mart Collective soft opened on Aug. 9, and to celebrate its official grand opening this Saturday and Sunday is offering two drawings each day for $50 gift certificates (no purchase necessary; need not be present to win).

Parking is available behind the store, which is open daily: Monday–Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; (310) 450-5142. Email can be sent to themartcollective@aol.com.

The Mart Collective also has a Facebook page.
