Villaraigosa: ‘I’m Moving to Venice’
The outgoing mayor confirms that he is indeed moving into the 90291-3 ZIP code.
Outgoing Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has officially confirmed, via an interview with radio station KPCC that he is indeed moving to Venice.
Patch reported earlier on speculation that the current Eastside resident had plans to move to Venice once his term in office comes to an end on June 30.
In his interview with KPCC, Villaraigosa said, "I'll do anything that the mayor, the governor, the City of Los Angeles asks me to do on their behalf. If I can promote the town that I was born and raised in and that my grandpa came to 100 years ago, I'm going to do it. I'm moving to Venice. I love that part of the city, and it's always been a great supporter of mine...”
