These features are proscribed by the regional planning boards (unelected ) in every part of the country. The only areas free to stop this kind of thing are elected state and county jurisdictions that have voted to keep ICLEI and the Agenda 21 planning overlays out of their planning departments. L.A County is a member of ICLEI and there in lies our problem. research Agenda 21 and ICLEI if you want to understand the source and scope of our problem. Greedy developers are just the tip of the iceberg.

I have completely given up on the LA City Planners and city council members who seem to green light…Read More these carpet bagger's who have over developed this city. The Playa Vista project and the continuous development of Marina Del Rey are prime examples of our so called "leaders" not having a clue. The result is intolerable traffic and over population that has ruined our communities here on the West side. Let me ask this question: Have any of these people spent any time studying the aftermath of these decisions? When was the last time any of these idiots attempted to drive from Venice to LAX? It used to take me 7 minutes. It now takes upwards of 30 minutes on some occasions. Lincoln Blvd has become the new 405 and we have the city planners to thank for this mess and all because of the obvious greed of revenue that these projects create. Steve Soboroff and Alan Casden are successful because of these green light habits of our incompetent decision makers. Enough is never enough for these scumbags.
