It's Time for Lindsay Lohan to Perform Her Duties

A judge has admonished the Venice actress for not completing sufficient court-ordered community service hours and counseling sessions.

On Thursday, Venice’s most infamous actress, Lindsay Lohan, was admonished by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sauter for not receiving the court mandated psychological counseling, and keeping pace with the community service that are conditions of her probation for stealing a necklace from a Venice jeweler, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Community service is a great way to rehabilitate your image. After Zsa Zsa Gabor had to perform community service for slapping a Beverly Hills police officer 20 years ago, she fulfilled her sentence at Venice’s Vera Davis McClendon Youth and Family Center. Although her service has long been fulfilled, Gabor still has a soft spot in her heart for the people that the center serves. Last Thanksgiving, she donated 300 turkeys for distribution.

On the other hand, Lohan has completed only 33 community service hours of the 480 she must finish by May. The judge warned her that this is a hard deadline, whether she is in production on a film or not, the Times said.

The judge also gave her 21 days to get counseling or she’d be dragged back into court for a hearing on revoking her probation.

Although Lohan showed in court in a designer outfit and $1,200 high heels, her excuse was that she had to end her previous counseling sessions because of “financial issues.”

I   as a creative soul who adds to our community’s quirky fabric, but it’s time for her to act like a responsible adult, doing the work the court ordered, and working out her issues with a professional counselor.
