Venice Meet Makes Monthly Debut Saturday in Venice

A new monthly gathering of vendors, food and music will take place Saturday on Abbot Kinney Boulevard.

A new monthly open-air market with live music, food and dozens of vendors will debut Saturday on Abbot Kinney Boulevard, which was recently named the "coolest block in America" by GQ Magazine.

The Venice Meet will have more than 40 Los Angeles-based vendors. The participating vendors include: Amella Caramel, The Flower Truck, House of Cy, Leg Candy Apparel, Mukee Designs, Rabbit Kinney, Sasha Bell Jewelry, Stay In The Light and VintiqueLA.

Music is scheduled to be provided by The Dustbowl Revival, Leftover Cuties and Song Preservation Society.

Event organizers said in a statement that the blend of arts, crafts, food and music is "about building community and capturing the independent spirit of this one of a kind L.A. neighborhood."

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m and will be held at 1010 Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The next scheduled dates for Venice Meet are May 12, June 9 and July 12.
