2015 Ford Mustang and Classic Mustangs Arrive at Muscle Beach in Venice

The new 2015 was unveiled Thursday, joined by classic Ford Mustangs at Muscle Beach in Venice.

Ford Mustangs and a Pacific Ocean view brought folks out to see the classic car line Thursday in Venice as the 2015 Mustang made its world-wide debut.

On a chilly day, visitors to Muscle Beach got to see some cool Mustangs, past and present. The venerable Ford Mustang is 50 years old now so there were plenty of descendants to see as Mustang car clubbers brought their showcase vehicles to the ocean's edge, according to a blog on HotRod.com.

Wrote The Mustang Source writer John Coyle about the new Mustang, "The Blue Oval hit it out of the park with the design for its prized Pony. The lines are more fluid, more muscular and more refined than we’ve ever seen. With a ferocious 5.0 Coyote motor under the hood—along with a diet which left Ford’s thoroughbreds 200lbs lighter—and IRS in the back, the competition should be worried. I can’t wait to drive it."

Six events celebrating the 2015 Mustang and 50 years of the classic pony car were held around the world, including one in Hollywood at the historical Chinese Theater.
