Garcetti Pays a Visit to Mar Vista

He’s still got a few more weeks to go before he’s officially the mayor of Los Angeles, but that didn’t stop Eastsider Eric Garcetti heading to the Westside – specifically Mar Vista – on Sunday to meet some of his soon-to-be constituents.

Garcetti headed to the Mar Vista Neighborhood Association’s annual block party on Barry Avenue where he mingled with outgoing CD 11 Councilman Bill Rosendahl and his incoming replacement Mike Bonin.

Other government officials that stopped by included Controller-elect Ron Galperin and State Sen. Ted Lieu.

Garcetti made sure to do the rounds and chat with locals.
