Still have no idea what to do this Halloween weekend? Don't panic. Mar Vista Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our picks:

Where/When: , 3330 Granville Ave, Los Angeles, CA, Sat. Oct. 29, 10 a.m.

Why Go: Help the Soles4Souls shoe charity by dropping off your old shoes Soles4Souls distributes shoes worldwide to people living in poverty as well as to disaster victims. The need is great; they estimate that 1.5 billion people do not have a pair of shoes. To date, they've distributed 16 million pairs of shoes.

Where/When: , 12006 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, Sat. Oct. 29, 2 p.m.

Why Go: Come to the Mar Vista Public Library and celebrate Halloween with a fun movie for teens. Plus, enjoy popcorn the library will provide. You'll have to show up though, to find out what movie is being screened.

Where/When: , 3711 Beethoven St, Los Angeles, CA, Sat. Oct. 29, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy Halloween fun including a haunted house, spooky events, lots of games and prizes.

Pricing: Free entrance.

Where/When: , 3826 Grand View Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, Sun. Oct. 30, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Why Go: Come celebrate the market's annual Day of the Dead Festival. Performances by Trio Loteria, Jaqueline Fuentes and Birdie Mendoza Band. Skeleton face painting, Day of the Dead puppet show by Grand View Elementary. Mexican art, bread and wares.

Where/When: , 3826 Grand View Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, Sun. Oct. 30, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Why Go: If you can't make it to the Mar Vista Elementary school shoe collection on Saturday, bring your shoes to the Green Tent at the market on Sunday. Last year the community donated over 800 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls. Melissa Stoller will be at the market on Sunday at the Green Tent to collect your old espadrilles, sneakers, pumps and boots. Start cleaning your closet now. Soles4Souls wants all types of shoes, from your kid’s outgrown tennis shoes to those rarely worn heels. Look in your closet and ask yourself, “Am I really going to wear these shoes again?” Every pair can make a difference, and you'll be helping the recylcing effort, too.

Why Go: Play a game of Quidditch, buy Butter Beer, check out the Haunted House and enter the forbidden forest! Meet Ron, Hermione and Harry. Lots of fun and games and prizes. Come as your favorite Harry Potter character!

Pricing: Free entrance.
