Yard sale organizers are collecting gently used clothing & shoes, small appliances, kitchen items, sports equipment, camping gear, garden stuff, children's toys & clothing, small furniture, artwork, any collectibles, electronics...anything "sellable" (no books please, for some reason they don't sell at yard sales!). Why Go: Meet Alejandra and Tracy of Cucina Cocina, who will prepare a summer menu you can taste, that highlights fresh, local ingredients, sold by farmers, as well as sustainable seafood. Alejandra will focus on Latin American cuisine while Tracy will prepare a Mediterranean dish. The duo are currently finalists on FOX’s popular TV show MasterChef with Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot, and Joe Bastianich.

Stop by and ask your garden questions too, and they'll do their best to answer them. While you're there, ask them about the Seed Library of Los Angeles
