Grey skies turned to sunshine (and back to grey skies again) on Sunday, but that didn't stop people turning out to celebrate the 's Halloween festival in style.
Up on stage some of Mar Vista's favorite performers including the kids band and entertained the crowds.
While parents shopped for their weekly fruit and vegetables (including plenty of pumpkins and ), children had their faces painted and decorated pumpkins.

The balloon man was on hand to make special shapes, including some scary black spiders with bright orange eyes, and some of the food vendors dressed up in Halloween garb and decorated their stalls.
