San Diego Freeway to Close through Sepulveda Pass Saturday Night

The closure is to allow crews to finish the concrete deck of the new Skirball Drive Bridge.

Both directions of the San Diego (405) Freeway in Sepulveda Pass will be closed Saturday night to allow for pouring of the concrete deck of the second half of the new Skirball Drive Bridge.

Partial southbound lane closures will start 10 p.m. Saturday. The southbound freeway will be off limits beginning at Valley Vista Boulevard from 1 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Dave Sotero of Metro said.

Northbound partial lane closures will also begin at 10 p.m. Saturday. The full northbound closure will be at Getty Center Drive from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, Sotero said.
