Accomplishment:

The troop was the #1 cookie selling troop in LA County (including parts of Kern and San Bernardino) . They sold over 17,000 boxes of cookies over four weekends in February and March.

Key to Awesomeness:

Girl Scout Leader Gloria Halfacre said the girls were very successful starting their own businesses selling the Girl Scout Cookies. "Although the girls did sell the traditional way of door-to-door and booths at markets, they went beyond that with Facebook, the Cookie Club (an online order taking provided by Girl Scouts), in front of their homes, family businesses, on busy traffic corners, the beach and Food Truck events.  You name it, the girls were there selling," said Halfacre.  "They made great signs, used the cookie costumes and banners, and we could not be more proud of them."
