"Save KLSD: Media Consolidation & Local Radio" Film, Hosted by Bree Walker
Common Cause sponsors the LA premiere of a new documentary film "Save KLSD: Media Consolidation & Local Radio" with emcee Bree Walker. Afterward, Q and A panel with Walker (TV/radio personality, Venice resident and co-narrator of Save KLSD), along with co-producers Jennifer Douglas & Jon Monday. "Save KLSD" explores the story of KLSD-AM and the near extinction of local, diverse radio in America, especially endangered is the expression of progressive views. Suggested donation: $10 to benefit Beyond Baroque & Save KLSD. DVDs available for an extra $5 at the event. $1 donated to media reform groups for every DVD sold.
