Chipotle Offers $2 'Boorito' for Costumed Customers on Halloween

Customers who dress in Halloween costumes between 4 p.m. and close of business Wednesday will get a burrito, bowl, salad, or order of tacos for $2. Proceeds up to $1 million will be donated to the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation.

Chipotle has a special treat for you this Halloween. The Mexican grill is bringing back its popular Halloween fundraiser: the Boorito.

From 4 p.m. to close today, all Chipotle locations in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada will treat customers dressed in costume to a burrito, burrito bowl, salad, or order of tacos for just $2. Proceeds from the fundraiser (up to $1 million) will benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation.

According to a company press release, the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to creating a more sustainable and healthful food supply and to raising awareness of food issues.

In addition to the restaurant special, participants in this year’s fundraiser are invited to also enter the Chipotle Costume Contest for a chance to win $2,500 and other prizes. For more information and contest rules, visit chipotle.com/boorito.

In the area, there are two Chipotle locations.
