There's still time to buy a Mega Millions lottery ticket for Friday's drawing that has an estimated jackpot of $640 million – the largest lottery jackpot ever.
To win, you need to hit five numbers, plus the Mega Ball. The odds of winning are about 1 in 175 million.

Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 8 p.m. Pacific Time. For Friday's drawing, an eligible ticket must be purchased by 7:45 p.m. Pacific Time the day of the drawing. If no one hits all six numbers Friday, the lottery will continue on to Tuesday. Those who hit five numbers without hitting the Mega Ball can also win prize money.
