Venice Videos, Traffic and a Charter School Update

Venice's Whole Foods Market is getting some attention—for its parking lot. The video, by Smog and Fog Films, is making the rounds on Facebook and emails, with more than 100,000 views between Monday night and Tuesday morning! Check it out above.

As though it's not bad enough that the , construction on Sepulveda Boulevard began on Monday. Traffic on Sepulveda will be reduced to one lane in each direction between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and then again from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews are placing utility lines underground along the boulevard from Mountaingate Drive to about 500 feet past Skirball Center Drive. The project is expected to last about 11 months! Westside drivers: Be forewarned.
