Washington Boulevard to Be Repaved

Washington Boulevard from Lincoln Boulevard to Oxford Avenue is scheduled to be repaved this weekend.

The road project will take place beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, and be completed before 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, according to Councilman Bill Rosendahl.

The City of Los Angeles, the Department of Public Works and the Bureau of Street Services are jointly supervising the project.

During the duration of the project, there will be temporary “No Parking Signs” posted in the area. Any cars or trucks parked on the street should be removed to avoid being damaged during the project, according to the Department of Public Works Street Services Department.
