Metamorphosis is the 3rd installment of Interactionism, a series of events in which the given space is transformed into an interactive and creative experience.  An exhibition by the artist collaborative interactionists.org.

A partial listing of Metamorphosis artists/projects:

Joseph Umali Fernandez has created a sculpture to surround the gallery entryway.  Shaped as wings, each guest who passes through this sculpture will transform into a human butterfly.  A photograph will be snapped of each guest and they will receive a card to reach the website and view their snapshot.  The artist has also invited participators to paint on the wings - further transforming the piece over the course of the event.

The Telephone Project is a series of artworks in which each artist interprets and responds to the work created before him or her.  Participating artists include Chad Grant, Wesley Pacleb, Tima Peck, Cassie Poe, David Juarez and Toneo Oishi.

The art collaborative L'art Pour L'art will be bringing in an interactive wishing tree installation for the transformation of thoughts into physical creation.

City Life Urban Lounge - this installation is a scale creation of the illusion of being outdoors within the gallery by artists Brandon Anthony, Tima Peck and Kyle William Harper.

Apryl Deadly, Fetish/pin-up/alternative/tattoo model, will be posing for a live art session, and DJ iEko has created and will be performing a soundtrack for the transformation of the evening.

Let me clarify: All I tried to do was re-link to the video that was dumped when Patch revised itsRead More format. The Festival of the Chariots won't be coming to Venice for months.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.
