The 19th annual Venice Surf-A-Thon will take place on Dec. 15 starting at 7 a.m. at the Venice Breakwater.
The contest costs $20 to enter, and participants will receive a custom designed t-shirt and entrance to the surf-a-thon after party.
Geri Lewis started the event in 1993 after he returned home from military service. To volunteer or help sponsor the event, please contact Geri Lewis at gerilewis001@gmail.com.
All proceeds from the event will benefit a school in Mindanao, Philippines.
