Goodwill Donation Drive

Short Avenue Elementary School has partnered with Goodwill Southern CA to raise funds and further their mission of enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities or other disadvantages through education, training and job placement services.

Fall Cleaning is coming to Short Avenue.  We won’t come to your house and clean for you, but we will help you with a close place to recycle and donate gently used clothing, electronics, household items and more on Saturday, November 17 from 8am – 2pm in the Beethoven Street parking lot off of Short Avenue.

Short Avenue Elementary spans one full block and is bounded by four streets: Short (which is called Mindanao west of Alla), Beethoven, Maxella and Moore. Enter the school parking lot at Beethoven, where we are having the Goodwill donation drive.

Please note that our Donation Drive List is slightly different than what is acceptable at regular store and donation centers.  For example, furniture is not acceptable at our drive, but is acceptable in donation centers.  See the Goodwill Acceptable Item List.
