Crash Blocks 4 Lanes of Northbound 405
It was 45 minutes of commuting purgatory, if not that other place.
A crash involving a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle blocked four lanes of the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway in the Mar Vista area for about 45 minutes today.
The collision was reported about 10:15 a.m. near Venice Boulevard, said California Highway Patrol Officer Jennifer Cassidy.
At least one injury was reported, Cassidy said.

Traffic was backed up while crews worked the clear the four lanes, which were reopened shortly before 11 a.m., the CHP reported.
