Crime Reports Rise in Venice

The latest LAPD data reveals there were 23 crimes reported in Venice last week compared with a weekly average of four.

According to an analysis of LAPD data, crime reports in Venice and other nine other L.A. neighborhoods rose significantly this past week.

 The L.A. Times reports there was a “significant" increase in violent crime, with Venice topping the list, recording 23 reports last week compared iwtha  weekly average of four over the past three months.
