Update: Firefighters Respond to Residential Fire Near Beach

A two-story home in Marina del Rey caught fire and may have injured one person Sunday morning.

One woman may have been injured today as she fled from a house fire in Venice, a fire department spokesman said.

The blaze inside the two-story residence at 20 E. Anchorage St. was reported at 8:53 a.m., said fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

"One woman was being evaluated at the scene for possible injuries she sustained escaping from the fire," Humphrey said. "I don't have a final report yet on her condition."

The department dispatched 39 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in about 12 minutes, Humphrey said.

A damage estimate was not immediately available, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.

Let me clarify: All I tried to do was re-link to the video that was dumped when Patch revised itsRead More format. The Festival of the Chariots won't be coming to Venice for months.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.
