Shooting related to a dispute between two men over a prostitute, the Los Angeles Times reports.
LAPD officers locked down several blocks in Venice on Tuesday night after receiving reports of shots fired in the Whole Foods parking lot at Lincoln Boulevard and Rose Avenue.
The officers took one suspect into custody at the time, but later released him, telling Patch that the investigation was ongoing, despite witnesseses being "uncooperative."
