A rash of burglaries in Pacific Division's area will be discussed.

In response to a recent spate of burglaries, the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Division will hold a meeting at the Masonic Lodge, 7726 W. Manchester Ave., at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The 25 burglaries happened in several areas the division patrols: One grouping occurred in the area north of Jefferson Boulevard, south of Venice Boulevard, west of Centinela Avenue and east of Marina Del Rey.

Another cluster took place in East Westchester around Alvern Street, Glasgow Avenue and La Tijera Boulevard, and there were two burglaries near Westchester High School. Two suspects were taken into custody who were loitering in the area near the high school, police said.
